BETTER OFF DEAD
During the Great Interplanetary Scuffle of 2099, Satan's army is dwindling. The only way to win this damn war and save humanity involves a messy time travel plot with naked 80s bottoms. Satan entrusts his most Russian friend and confidante, Betrov, to go about putting together a band of handsome, fearless, elite musicians, each the master of their instruments. Unfortunately they were struggling to find a bass player. Knowing his penchant for stage tricks, fame-seeking and absolute adoration of evil musicals, such as Mama Mia, the only person that could fill that void was Satan himself. Live, before your very own eyes, is their story of how they couldn't get the time machine to send them back so now they have to wait 80 years to be able to... fight in Satan's army... or something? It's pretty much the Queen musical, but with more dong.

In 2016 they even took their music further out in to Europe. In April 2017 the duo grew from a two piece in to a five piece and they are hoping the expansion of the sound will further their success even more.

Les Eastham is at heart a storyteller, with a bucket load of experiences, which he pours into his songs; songs like “Back On The Bus” about his epic Greyhound Bus trip around the USA in the early 70s and “The Night I First Met Gene” which is based on an encounter with American rock and roller, Gene Vincent. Les mixes country, blues, old time Americana and jazz into his set but is also happy to dip into British folk and music hall songs. With his band “Dust & Debris” he’s appeared on festival stages, including Glastonbudget, he’s supported visiting acts at Leicester’s “Musician” pub and has been a favourite among residents at his local care home. Les has lots of original songs but also expect to hear his take on classic songs by artists such as Dylan and others, with a bit of humour and audience sing-a long thrown into the mix.

S.T. Manville grew up playing in punk bands. After tiring of the non stop DIY touring he went on to write both platinum and gold selling records. Records he has worked on have been streamed over 50 Million times. However, disenchanted with the pop world, Manville picked up a guitar and started writing for himself. His debut release was an album of punk covers called ‘Somebody Else's Songs’. Featuring songs by pop-punk covers, all presented in his own emotional folk/country style. Recording and playing everything himself, his hushed vocals, intimate guitar playing and rustic accompaniments on banjo, violin and accordion bring a sentimental gravitas to songs you may not have thought it possible to. He is quickly making a name for himself as one of the most promising new indie folk artists around.
